I believe in the power of music to change kids lives. I think music is the most important subject taught in our schools today. I believe that music education teaches the importance of personal responsibility to something larger than ourselves and the powerful idea that we all have a voice and something to contribute.
I think that practicing an instrument has the power to teach us more about ourselves than anything else in our lives. I am fascinated by the fact that if am methodical and careful enough in my practice, there are no limits to what I can do. I believe that music teaches us that anything is possible.
