Indeed welcome to my little part of cyberspace. Above are my immediate family. Kathy (Paul’s wife) took the photo. And since the photo Matthias has married the lovely Andrea and Lief has been born to Pablo and Kathy! From left to right Matthias, Sierra, Gazhong, GiGi (my mom) Lin Yim (GZ’s mom) Rosalie!, Pablo, then myself and TaiMing in the front row. I hope to get a more up to date photo this Christmas when Sierra is home form East Timor again.

Today is my father’s birthday (Dec 7th) I always think of him but especially on this day. He was a man that inspired by his generosity and hard work. He is there in the photo in my heart and those his other descendants and his bride. The photo on the right is of our home, Beach House, always an inspiration itself, a quiet refuge from the craziness of life and times. The canoe shot is on the way by water from the house to Chuckanut Island in the bay about 30 minutes paddling from the house. The kid at the right is me at my best (in 1956).
