CSU Bakersfield, Arts Council of Kern and the Kern County Superintendent of School Migrant Education Program teamed up to offer 100 students an intensive two-week Art Camp entitled CSUB Summer Arts Jam. 

The students explored Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Musical Theatre and Improvised Music.  Their work culminated in a gallery show at the Todd Madigan Art Gallery and a live performance of improvised music and selections from the musical theatre repertoire on the Doré Theatre stage on Friday, June 27.  The student work was stellar!

Hundreds of friends and family members visited CSUB to witness the art that their children created over the two-week excursion at CSUB.
