How many manipulative techniques are there? Each profession has the tools and styles that are unique to one another. There are also techniques that are borrowed, stolen and commonly used by all. By far the chiropractic profession has more systematic approaches to patient care involving manipulative and/or adjustive techniques than any other. Non manipulative techniques are becoming more popular with those that do not want manipulation. Chiropractors have had these at their disposal for almost a century...check these out:

Who manipulates the spine? In Australia, legally, it is either of four professionals:

Medical physician -with none, little or extensive training.
Physiotherapist -with either none, or, specialised training.
Osteopath -with extensive core training.
Chiropractor -with extensive training with continuing educational requirements. Especially those affiliated with the CAA (Chiropractors Association of Australia).
