Old Stone Church

This painting brings back all kinds of good memories. In the summer of 2004 my wife and I had the opportunity to visit friends in England. A totally out-of-the-ordinary vacation, to be sure. They treated us to two weeks in the UK visiting Salisbury, Stonehenge, Bath, Southampton, Bedford, Oxford, and my favorite, Wales. This very old stone church was in the small village of Port Eynon. As is the norm in Europe, these churches are almost a thousand years old, which is almost beyond my comprehension!
