Auburn SDA Community Services

is a program designed to help the homeless and less fortunate with food and clothing that they are not able to provide for themselves.  The movie above honors Lucile Gaedy the outgoing Director (she retired in March of 08) for her service and credits her with the expansion of a program that had very humble beginnings but is now recognized county wide as one of the best resources for disadvantaged individuals and families.  Auburn ACS is recognized by individuals, government organizations and local businesses all over Placer county and has been recognized and rewarded as one of the best organizations of its type year after year.

I was asked to take a few pictures for the Auburn Seventh Day Adventist Church so that Lucile’s work could be honored by the Auburn SDA church congregation.  As it turned out I ended up staying that Tuesday for 5 hours picturing, interviewing and taping the “miracles that happen every Tuesday” at Auburn CS.  Take a look and see for yourself how ACS impacts their community and some of the people that make it happen.
