WAR OF WORDS

the scrabble movie . . . .  2011

War Of Words is a movie about two scrabble games. The purpose of the film is to provide a teaching tool to promote the game of scrabble as played in competitive mode, much like at local sanctioned scrabble clubs all across North America.
The project is the brainchild of Letter Man, Gary Moss. Moss is retired but you’d never know it if you followed his daily routines. You might also think that Moss earns a six figure income as a result all of his scrabble related projects. You’d be wrong. Moss has carved out a small but very active scrabble fiefdom in southern California (Orange County). Neither is he a wealthy man according to his credit rating. However, Moss considers himself to be one of the richest men on the planet, pursuing his passion and passing it forward.
WAR OF WORDS has been lingering in Moss’ plans for quite a while, years. It wasn’t until recently that Moss mustarded up the courage to take a stab at a movie format.

“Were not ready until we’re ready.”
                                                ~ Gary Moss

Moss has been a MAC user since the mid 1970s. As Headmaster at The Moss School in West Bloomfield, Michigan, he was an innovator when he offer computer classes to elementary school children in 1976. But it wasn’t until about 2004 technology became so user friendly that Moss began to feel comfortable enough to try his hand at movie making. His MAC and the One-To-One coaching at the Apple Store made the difference. To see his advances in some of his early movies CLICK HERE.
