“The Effects of Incarceration on Families” [working title] is a youth-produced documentary project focusing on impact of the prison system on children. The piece, produced by teens with incarcerated parents, will explore an issue facing an estimated 7 million children in the United States, and will create powerful advocacy tools, told from the life experiences of the filmmakers themselves.
