Videotape & installation, 1994, music by Robert Worby. First shown as multiple-screen installation “Natural History” at the National Museum for Contemporary Art, Oslo and then reworked as “Grey” for an exhibition at Trondheim Museum of Art. The starting point for the work is the idea of the interpenetration of real and virtual spaces and the apparent opposition between the synthetic and the natural. Three white-clad figures (female but possibly androgynous) move through a constructed space of digital images accompanied by a soundscape of digitally manipulated voice fragments.
