For 2 weeks in September 2007, four of us cycled the length and heights of the Pyrenees to raise sponsorship for a number of worthy causes.

Our target: £10,000 - we are still collecting!

The Charities:

At the end of the trip we had covered 1000km and had climbed over 21,000m - not bad for for a group of men with an average age of over 40!! We successfully climbed the many cols in the route, including the Col de Tourmalet (2115m), Col d'Aubisque (1709m), Col d'Aspin (1489m) and the Port de Pailheres (2001m).

Planning for the event began back in April 2006 and the Team started serious training in October 2006. As we thought, the trip was a huge challenge - climbing at the limits of your ability for 2 hours is an exhausting experience, but the hard work makes success hugely rewarding. The scenery, food and cultures we encountered were in turn beautiful, delicious and fascinating. Please continue to show us your support by sponsoring us.
