John lives in Norfolk and has found this to be a small problem! “I have been putting the miles in but it is difficult to train for the climbs in Norfolk ! We have all put in a lot of time and effort preparing for the event and hope we are ready to take on the Pyrenees.”
“In 2004 we raised a significant sum for our nominated charities by cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. We decided then that we would need to find an even greater challenge before approaching you, our sponsors, to ask you to dig deep again and help us raise even more money this year.”
John has chosen to support the British Heart Foundation on this challenge. He first became involved with the charity when cycling the London to Brighton Ride, which they help organise. As well as the Lands End to John O'Groats ride in 2004, he has ridden in many other events, particularly the Norwich 100 and London to Brighton rides, over many years.
