Chicago Chamber Musicians’ Family Concerts

2008 Call for Scores Winners Concert

                    Also included will be Dana McCormick’s Two Episodes written for Quintet Attacca, and Elliott Carter’s Woodwind Quintet from 1948 in honor of his 100th birthday year!

Chicago Chamber Musicians’ Subscription Concert

Program:    The program will highlight Quintet Attacca as the Ensemble-in-Residence with the Chicago Chamber Musicians’ Professional Development Program.  QA will perform Gyorgy Ligeti’s Six Bagatelles and members of QA will join CCM for Mozart’s Gran Partita.

Q & A with QA What will your question be?

Where:   Nichols Hall, Music Institute of Chicago, Evanston Campus

Program:    The program will feature works by Paul Hindemith, John Harbison, and Carl Schimmel

Info:    Co-Sponsored by the Chicago Chamber Musicians and the Music Institute of Chicago, this concert will celebrate the success of QA’s two years as Professional Development Ensemble-in-Residence with CCM and QA’s first year as ensemble-in-residence at MIC.  The concert will begin with a Meet and Greet, include a Q&A interactive intermission, and conclude with a celebratory post-concert reception!  For more information on this year’s event, click here.
