Parents

I can’t seem to go see Gavin empty handed ~ The right of an Aunt to spoil him and his Mommy! One of my favorite magazines when my kids were little was Parents magazine. So I got my sister Stephanie and Mike a two year Subscription! Now since new subscriptions don’t start right away (this one takes 6-10 weeks) I made them a special card to let them know, I also bought the June and July issues at the book store.

I found the photo of the magazine online. I love that I found one with a cute

Happy 4th Of July

This is a little gift I have to take down to Gavin today. You can’t celebrate the 4th without fireworks right! I got this adorable little onesie online at Sibling Rivalry Designs. She has some really cute designs and I will be ordering again that is for sure! Here is a closer look...

This is Gavin’s first personalized, first holiday card! So I hope I was able to make it special enough. I was so happy when I found firework paper by Stemma after I order the onesie!

Happy 4th ~ Almost

I can’t believe I almost forgot about this cutie. I was sitting in my craft room the other day wishing I had some images for July 4th and then I remembered I bought the new Glam Girls set from C.C. Designs! DUH! She is perfect!

Virginia is stamped with Stazon Jet Black ink and colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The Happy 4th was done with markers. I added Waterfall Stickles to her top for some 4th of July bling. I used the circle and Mega rectangle Nestabilities Dies to cut out

Saying Good Bye

Today was a tough morning for me. My youngest daughter Jessica left for Texas today to spend the rest of the summer with her Dad and the rest of her Family. She was super excited and a bit nervous to fly alone for the first time. I was super nervous and sad to let her go but I couldn’t let her see it. I was able to sit with her at the gate until she boarded and just as she gave me one last hug she handed me this!

Is her coloring not FAB!
And she figured out my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities

Celebrate

Can you believe we are in July already? This summer is just flying by. I go back to work on the 24th! That will be here before I know it and another school year will have begun. My kids don’t go back until August 18th so they still have some time to enjoy their summer.

One of the things I love about summer is the 4th of July and summer BBQ’s. We live so close to the beach we can see the fireworks right from our backyard!

So here is a little card I made to send to my Mom using the Saltbox
