Scott’s parents took this picture of us last night. It was our 16th wedding anniversary. Gosh...it has been a year!! And who knows what the next year has in store for us. But I think that is the way with everyone. It’s just that we all get lulled into thinking that life will go on as planned. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. But one can take a bunch of sour grapes and turn it into wine, I suppose. I hope. Things are getting better. But brain injury is a monster...a horribly complicated and confusing thing that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. But the brain also has a miraculous way of healing that we just are beginning to understand.
There are details about Scott’s recovery that I can’t really give on my blog. So, please, anyone who wants update emails with more details and pictures, please email me at jennigribble@mac.com. I will put you on the list.
Some of my knitting readers have been asking me if I’ve been knitting. The answer is not really. I was working on a crochet bag when Scott was in the hospital, but when he got out that sort of fizzled. I have been trying to get back to some things that I enjoy. I brought out my camera recently and started taking pictures. The bottom line is that as Scott gets better, I feel better. There is nothing else to it.
