I have finished my Star Afghan!  I loved this project.  I used approximately 4-5 skeins of random sock yarn to complete it and it is about 50 inches across.  It was a really fun knit.  I guess I like mindless round and round stuff, with an occasional blurb.

 

Granny is still adjusting to her new home.  They are changing her medication.  I hope it helps.  She has been hitting people and throwing fits and things, not because she’s mean, but because her mind has been affected by the strokes.  The good news is that Alzcare has not said that she has to leave.  The nurse says that they have seen worse, and apparently they are used to dealing with some of this stuff.

 

School started this last week.  We are using a block schedule this year.  I am excited about it.  I think it will be nice not doing the same thing everyday.
