Alum Creek

I have been so busy.  It seems that I have had million appointments and things that I have needed to take care of this week, as well as getting catching some sort of virus, and having to move into our new apartment...ugh!  I am exhausted.

Scott is getting busy too.  He is keeping the staff on their toes now that he is zooming all over the rehab center in his wheel chair without any assistance.  Although, still confused, I am told this is a positive step in his recovery.  He is making more sense, and when he doesn’t “make sense” he still kind of does.   It’s just that he can’t find the words and has to make do with others.  He does crack me up with the things he says though.

With very little help, he is able to get in and out of the car.  I was going to take him to Sonic today, but alas...I didn’t have time!  I was running back and forth from Round Rock to South Austin to Bastrop all day.

His feeding tube was removed earlier this week.  He is tube free!!  It is such a relief.  Some patients go home with those feeding tubes...oh that would have been horrible.

As I move into the apartment, my Internet access may be sketchy for awhile.   I don’t know when I will be able to get access there.  So, if you don’t see an update for a little while, don’t worry.  You can always send me an email at jennigribble@mac.com.  I can check my email at work, but I can’t write on my blog from there.

Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
