GET OF SIRE
and Their Dams

Declaration produces beautiful, kind foals out of all types of mares.  Here is a complete listing of all his get together with the mares.  We would never choose a stallion based on looks or performance alone.   We always ask to see the foals, then ask to see their dams.  A great stallion is able to produce  better than himself -- and better than the dams.  Declaration’s stamp is evident on each of his get below: excellent shoulders, quarters, necks, heads and athleticism. Despite the variation in mares, the foals are all alike. “Sparky” has added an astonishing length of leg on all his foals so far, regardless of the dams. Even TB mares produce offspring taller than themselves when bred to Sparky! And best of all: Sparky’s foals have his great kindness and intelligence!
On the far left is Mosswood’s Spirit as a yearling; his dam is at right. She is 16H; Spirit is 16.2 H.
He is successfully competing in eventing with his new owner.
On the left is Selah’s Declared Revelry at about one year.  On the right is his dam, Coachman’s Simplistik (“Nora”).  Nora is about 14.1 H tall.  Rev is now called “Indy” by his owner. He is 4 and his owner reports she can canter him in hand. Will finish 15.1H
On far left is Laurel of Mosswood as a coming 3 year old. She is a beautiful, kind yet bold TB-Morgan cross. Her dam on the right is Charlie’s Lass.  Sparky improved the dam’s  shoulder, feet and bone while capitalizing on her huge movement.   Laurel is her dam’s first foal and will be her dam’s height: 15.3
To the left above is Mosswoods Dawn (Declaration X EMH As Good As it Gets).  The dam, “Macey,” has multiple lines to Ulendon and is pictured on Dawn’s right.  Dawn now lives in Connecticut where she enjoys being a member of her new herd and working with students under the guidance of  her owner.  Dawn will mature to 15 + H.
Mosswoods Meadow is a gorgeous, big bay filly with a star, born May 11 2007.  out of WAR Codycadero.  This filly shows again that Sparky consistently stamps his get with type, athleticism, brains and beauty.  Note the great hind leg on this filly - typical of the improvements Sparky can make on his mares. Will be 15.3 - 16H.
On left is Mosswood’s Willow at 3 months. Her dam is Macey, the dam of Dawn (see above). Dawn and Willow are almost identical in color, conformation, temperament and talent.  Willow is shedding to a deep liver chestnut. She is bold, self-confident, and like her sire, powerfully built with a natural uphill  balance. Mature 15.1+ H.  Willow was born in 2008 and is for sale.
Nora and her 2008 foal by Declaration, Mosswoods Falcon.  Falcon is our first buckskin by Sparky.   He is pictured at almost 3 months and should mature about 15.1 + H. Sparky gives his foals added length of leg and much improved heads.  See portraits of foals below.
Declaration, a  CDE champion, throws great size, bone, minds and movement, passing his best qualities on,  mare after mare.  His sweet disposition makes him extremely easy to handle and he consistently produces offspring with  great heart, willingness and work ethic.  He is, quite simply, the best we know.  Here he is in a candid picture as a three-year old just before starting his CDE career (above).  This picture shows his natural muscling, excellent feet, straight legs, kind eye and astonishing chest.  Although he measures exactly 14.2 at the withers, he “presents” as a much larger horse and his offspring are all larger than he is.  None are less than 15.1 H, including foals out of 14.1H mares, and several are 16H or more. Did we mention the heads he produces?! (top left clockwise: Falcon, “Indy,” Willow, Dawn, Laurel, Spirit, Meadow. Declaration is in the center).
