GET OF SIRE
and Their Dams

Declaration produces beautiful, kind foals out of all types of mares.  Here is a complete listing of all his get together with the mares.  We would never choose a stallion based on looks or performance alone.   We always ask to see the foals, then ask to see their dams.  A great stallion is able to produce  better than himself -- and better than the dams.  Declaration’s stamp is evident on each of his get below: excellent shoulders, quarters, necks, heads and athleticism. Despite the variation in mares, the foals are all alike. “Sparky” has added an astonishing length of leg on all his foals so far, regardless of the dams. Even TB mares produce offspring taller than themselves when bred to Sparky!
On the far left is Mosswood’s Spirit as a yearling; his dam is at right. She is 16H; Spirit is 16.2 H.
He competed as a novice eventer in Aiken, SC . and now events in MA.
On the left is Selah’s Declared Revelry at about one year.  On the right is his dam, Coachman’s Simplistik (“Nora”).  Nora is about 14.1 H tall.  Rev is now called “Indy” by his owner. He is 4 and his owner, who adores him, reports she can canter him in hand.   Will finish 15.1+ H.
On far left is Laurel of Mosswood as a coming 3 year old. She is a beautiful, smart, bold TB-Morgan cross. Her dam on the right is Charlie’s Lass.  Laurel floats -- a big-moving filly with her sire’s good bone and excellent feet. She is an excellent eventing, jumping or dressage prospect.  Laurel is her dam’s first foal and measures at 15.1+; she’ll l probably finish  about 15.2-15.3 H. She is for sale.
To the left is Mosswoods Dawn (Declaration X EMH As Good As it Gets).  The dam, “Macy,” has multiple lines to Ulendon and is pictured on Dawn’s right.  Dawn now lives in Connecticut where she enjoys being a member of her new herd, working with students and is a special companion for her owner.  Dawn will mature to 15 + H.
Mosswoods Meadow is a gorgeous, big bay filly with a star, born May 11 2007.  out of WAR Codycadero.  This filly shows again that Sparky consistently stamps his get with type, athleticism, brains and beauty.  Meadow joins her extended family as a nearly identical copy of purebred half siblings Rev, Laurel, Spirit and Dawn.  Will be 16H.
On far left is Mosswood’s Willow at 3 months. Her dam is Macey, the dam of Dawn, pictured above. Dawn and Willow are almost identical and very correct.  Willow is shedding to a black chestnut. She is bold, self-confident, and like her sire, powerfully built with a natural uphill  balance. Mature 15+ H
The sire -- Declaration, a  CDE champion who throws great size, great minds and passes his best qualities on,  mare after mare.  He is bold, talented, and super smart.  We also believe there is no stallion anywhere with a better disposition or who so consistently produces offspring with such great   heart, willingness and work ethic.  He is, quite simply, the best we know.  Here he is in a candid picture as a three-year old just before starting his CDE career.  This picture shows his natural muscling, excellent feet, straight legs, kind eye and good chest.  Although he measures exactly 14.2 at the withers, he “presents” as a much larger horse and his offspring are all larger than he is.  We have yet to produce a pony cross - though we are trying.
Nora and her 2008 foal by Declaration, Mosswoods Falcon (above).  Falcon is our first buckskin by Sparky.   He is pictured at almost 3 months and should mature about 15.1 + H. Falcon is going to be joining a family in Connecticut where he will be a stud and possible CDE competitor.
