i love making cakes.... at first it was any type of cake i could think of... the  more out of the ordinary the better! I wish i had pictures of some of those early cakes... then i loved the idea of making wedding cakes, so i took some classes learned a bit of the trade and began designing.
 
    I am often asked the question: “Why wedding cakes?”. i have come to rest upon one answer... I believe that every little girl dreams of her wedding and at some point thinks through all the details and every wedding she attends becomes research for what is beautiful and what is not.
 
    But then the truth that details cost money starts to break down that dream. Often it is the cake that is cut out because a specialty cake prices are so high. So that is where i come in...
 
    i will do my best to make the dream cake for the lowest cost possible and as i work for hours on that cake i pray for their marriage, i pray for their protection, that they will be supported by their families and that close friends will surround them and guard that marriage. in a time where divorce rate almost equals the marriage rate wedding cakes are, in a simple sense, my ministry.
