We spent the day in the company of Vanessa and Doug Zeller who live in the town of Arkwright and several other friends. Vanessa is a secretary at Dan’s school and her husband Doug is captain of the Argo for the DEC. After a picnic supper at the Zeller’s home, we drove down to Dunkirk harbor to watch the fireworks from aboard the Argo. The fireworks were literally “over our heads”.
