We can provide a permanent, very legible mark on anything you might own (laptop, PDA, cell phone or MP3 player, wallet, or mementoes and keepsakes like figurines, pictures frames, knives, gun stocks, etc...), and rest assured that expensive items such as iPods and laptops have been tested, and damage to the device is never an issue. A controlled layer of material is removed from non-metallic surfaces for laser marking, but never enough to affect functionality, and this leaves a beautiful mark which can be paint filled for increased attractiveness. On metallic surfaces, no material is removed, rather it is coated with a mineral-rich ‘paint’, which is welded to the surface by the laser, leaving a permanent black mark.
