This is a sermon loosely based on Matthew 27, but primarily about the passion narrative of Jesus as a whole. Anyone familiar with the work of René Girard will note my strong dependance on his amazing analysis of pagan mythology and collective violence, especially in I See Satan Fall Like Lightning.
