Press Release

These two booklets offer a new concept for lacemakers.

Both Sandi and  Jean are known for their own innovative designs and these booklets have grown out of a shared interest in design, its history and current trends.

The booklets give complete patterns with instructions, diagrams and prickings for some pieces. Other designs are presented for lacemakers of any level of proficiency to develop; but ideas abound.

This first set of booklets has the general theme of ‘Pomegranates’ and the fruit is put into its context within design, both historically and geographically. This is all done with a light touch and provides an enjoyable read for anyone interested in design.

One of the surprising additions is the inclusion of patterns from the past which have, to the best of our knowledge, not been published before.

We hope all lacemakers will enjoy the booklets and find them useful and affordable companions to their activities.
