Students joined a group of four and chose a topic to present to the class

which included Howard Gardner’s 8 multiple intelligences.

  

One group chose how to check each others heart rate.  Another group    

   presented the four areas on  the tongue which pick up sweet, salty,   

   sour, and bitter items. An assessment was recorded after each

   presentation to see what the students had learned.

      The movement of blood and oxygen traveling through the heart was  

   demonstrated.               

       Buildings were made to withstand earthquakes.

       Compression vs. Tension brought out gumdrops and toothpicks.

          Then they classified recycled items and leaves.
