Samuel Rothbort created hundreds of Jewish “Memory Paintings”. These paintings represented the daily life in the Volkovisk Shtetl of the late 19th century.Rothborts watercolors used for the film “The Ghetto Pillow” were used for reference for the play Fiddler on the Roof.
