I just noticed a new TV icon at the top of the screen on my cell phone. I have seen people using their phones for such things before but when I bought my new phone I was under the impression that in order to get a model capable of that I’d have to buy a more expensive one. Preferring to read on the subway I thought that such a tech-luxury would be an unnecessary upgrade for me. Out of curiosity though, I navigated my way through the various animated menus until coming across the directory for TV dramas, news programs, sports, and the like. For about ten cents I watched the weather. Cool.
