After living here for four years and having insurance deducted from my pay checks for most of that time (illegally, I now know) I have finally (after six months working at this school), at long last, received my insurance card. I was so overjoyed that I brought it right home to scan it in and put it in my blog and as I was looking at the name at the top I noticed they really screwed it up. Because it’s written in Korean it won’t have the exact same phonetic pronunciation, but they didn’t even get it close. “Jole El-ah”. What the hell.
On a lighter note I did see a bumble-bee on my way to the store hovering over some wet garbage. Ah, spring is here and love is in the air.
Also, Hiroki, my Japanese friend I met while studying at Sogang University is coming over tomorrow. He arrived in Korea today and I am looking forward to seeing him. It has been awhile since I’ve seen him.
