It is Buddha’s birthday today so I had every intention of taking the public holiday by the horns and stay at home and paint. I got a call from an art buddy of mine here who says that she got me an interview with a friend of hers who owns or runs a gallery. She told me to have a portfolio ready by next week, and it takes a lot of work to put together a good portfolio. I have also been working steadily on the children’s book, and was looking forward to taking care of the coloring. However I received a call last from a guy I met while working as an extra on a movie and he hooked me up with a potential modeling job for Nintendo. So, instead of staying at home and working I will be taking part of the day off to go into Seoul and do a camera test. I hope it works out, otherwise it would have been a wasted trip into the city and a waste of my time. Of course, I could take my sketch book with me so that I could get some drawing done on the subway....*sigh* mass transit. There are advantages of not having to drive everywhere.
