Several weeks ago my Japanese friend Hiroki posted a video on YouTube of him eating a “Mega Mac”, a towering four-beef patty monstrosity sold at Japanese McDonald’s. Due to it’s massive size he had trouble keeping it together as he tried to eat it. He came up with a novel and entertaining solution, which can be seen here. http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=v2lYnILCKWE&watch_response I showed it to Bart one night when he was over and we came decided to make a response video to it. Because there is no Mega Mac in Korea, we set about making our own. You can see our efforts here. http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=BlQgaEiQHCM That is what we spent a couple of hours doing this morning.
Following that I went to Hansei to take care of some final exam and grading things, as well as to check on my credit card balance. Everything is fine. Alice came over after she finished work. She recently purchased an English study book full of idioms and expressions which I have used throughout the years here for my high-level students. Today we finished our second lesson before I cooked her dinner and we watched some television.
Last night I began a new painting. It’s huge, more than five feet wide. The composition is very, very exciting. It can be seen here.
