When it comes to BLOGGING, I have heard a LOT of the same questions over the years.

I thought it would be as easy as anything else to share a few of the questions I have heard, as well as some of the answers I’ve come up with since starting to “blog” in 2001...

What do I blog about?

Most recently I attended a seminar presented by Mark Victor Hansen. This is a book marketing seminar.

How do I let people know I'm blogging?

The easiest way that I have found and the least bit time consuming, to drive traffic to my blog is to visit other people's web blogs.

There, I can read one of their entries and post a comments. This allows me to let them know I'm reading their work. You know, it's fascinating if I read someone's work and leave a comment on their blog.

The way it works is that later that day or week, they'll come and visit MY blog... and if it's something that we might be mutually interested in, they may leave a comment as well! We could even subscribe to each others blog.

No, I never ask people to subscribe but in doing this kind of cross marketing and pollination, I found it is a great way to increase the numbers of people who read my blog everyday.

How often do I write on my blog?

I like to post 2 to 5 times per week and I will be honest. Many of my blog entries I write ahead of time and I futures post them. To me this means I can write 2, 3, or 4 articles one day and then have those automatically go live for the week.

I tend to launch my blog entries early in the morning between 07:00 a.m. and 09:00 a.m., this gives people something to look forward to when they get to work or to their office at home.
