On our 11th day of touring South America, we visited the infamous Iguazu Falls. We were taken on a sight-seeing tour of the falls and its surroundings, and walked through the National Park's dense rainforest. We walked down to the river and found two large speedboats waiting for us. We were taken on a fast paced ride up and down the river. While traveling between 20-30 knots, we had a opportunity to take in the sights of the rainforest that surrounded the riverside. We were then taken to a cycling trial for our 9km bike ride, another boat ride and then kayaking in pairs along the river. When we finally reached the hut, we were given a meal and then proceeded to retire to the hotel after a long, fun packed (and very muddy) day. Our evening consisted of room service meals, relaxing in the jacuzzi and watching Luke Hill's spectacular performance in the pool diving/heading a ball competition.
Our relaxation period has got us off to a great start and we can't wait for what is to come.
