Born and raised in Vancouver, I went to the University of Calgary and got a BFA. I started improvising at The Loose Moose Theatre in 1992 and stand-up comedy at the Urban Well in 2000.

I have done over one hundred TV & Radio ads and more than thirty appearances in Film & TV.  When not acting I write. For the stage (Touchstone), Television (CBC, CTV, Comedy Network, HGTV) and Radio. I’ve also written five feature-length comedies - two have been optioned by Joker Films and TitleCard Pictures, respectively.

I have also written, directed and starred in three web series. The Staff Room has reached over 75 000 views.  The Acting Class was nominated for Leo Award in 2011 and Sports Talk Radio was released in 2012.

"It pisses me off how funny Jason Bryden is.  I mean, how can anyone successfully host a show while leaning against things? But he does. And it's great."    -DOSE.CA

“Jason Bryden shines [at Vancouver TheatreSports]. He spewed out jokes like a lawnmower spits out grass. He has real talent.”

-Colin Thomas, The Georgia Straight
