Recorded in the Fall of 1997, Deep Deep Sound Sleep has all the classic hallmarks of the early Aboriginal sound. Sampling a 1960’s self hypnosis lp and the Environment’s Series “Chanting” lp, DDSS with it’s layer upon layer of drone, delay loops, tape and lp speed tampering, blasts of static metal percussion, shortwave and organ, will hit you right in the 3rd eye.
