I feel bad about my lawn

Carol Starr Schneider

I feel bad about my lawn.  If you saw my lawn, you’d feel bad, too.  Before water restrictions, my lawn looked pretty.  Now it has ugly age spots.  My lawn wants what it can’t have – more water.  I can’t give it more.  I’ll get fined.  For fun, I count dead lawns in the neighborhood.  Mine looks better, only half-dead.  I feel good about that.  I know.  It’s sick.  I don’t care.  Before water restrictions, I cared.  Now? Not so much.  Clearly, I need help.  I need more water, about a bucket’s worth.  Hose it over.
