
The network has collaborated since the first questionnaire which was gathered in 1992 containing 20 countries and 500 companies.
IMSS 2 was conducted in 1996 with 26 countries and 700 companies.
IMSS 3 ran in 2002/03 with 23 countries and 600 companies.
IMSS 4 have in 2006 over 700 companies
Due to agreement between the partners, the data is available to researchers at the participating organizations only
The questionaire has from IMSS 1 been based on the model stated as hypothesis by Chris Voss at London Business School shown above.
This is not a funded project, so each institution has to provide their own local/ national funding to administer the survey and participate in coordination and reporting.
