Integrated Technology

Technology lessons are planned in conjunction with the classroom teachers.  The lessons are designed to use a project-based learning model which integrates technology into each grade level curriculum.  We align our projects with the California State Standards and the National Educational Technology Standards for Students.

We provide and assist with student-produced videos, the integration of learning between the classroom, the tech lab, and the science lab, art studio, and music room is a fantastic example of project-based learning.
Please be sure to view student samples at the
podcast area and the show off areas of the site.

Children are able to access their lab projects using the server and view them in their classrooms. Students use the L.U.N.I.T.S area of the site to access content for their projects. L.U.N.I.T.S. – a Learning UNit created by teams Integrating Technology aligned with the Standards. L.U.N.I.T.S are created in collaboration though professional learning communities that are formed with specific goals.  The CLICKS to LEARN! Website is used for research, virtual field trips, specific links, tutorials, etc.

Teachers also use a laptop computer with a projection system to assist in the instruction of their students. The projector and computer empower the teachers to connect lesson plans to immediate resources from the internet, United Streaming videos, and a variety of presentations that offer real time learning experiences!
