Our Journey to Lucy

“We” are Chuck and Jamie Donchess.  We have been married for 8 years.  Chuck has 3 children, Jessica, Jamie (can you believe it) and Adam.  And, of course, there is our dog Knute.  EVERYONE is thrilled to welcome Lucy to our family. 

We live in Irvine, CA. 

As we wait for our baby from China, we offer you to join us. We began in February of 2005 and received an LID (log in date in China) of October 27, 2005.

On the magical day of May 4, 2007, we received the call that we have a baby girl and 90 minutes later saw her face for the first time. 

Lucy Anne Ai Donchess is our daughter - finally!  We love her like crazycakes!

We left for China on July 3rd.  We received our baby girl on July 9th and we returned home on July 20th.  What an adventure.  Check out our “Trip to China” link for details on the trip and then our “Blog” for the most recent updates.
