Programme

Sunday 12pm -1pm (Spiritual Development and Training)

The youth meeting consists of youth aged 13 – 30 years, plus a team of leaders coming together to share in learning and training in bible based teachings, open discussions and participation in games and readings, focusing on everyday topics and situations, within a relaxed atmosphere and with light refreshments.   (Held in the youth suite)

Youth Fellowship Sunday 7pm – 10pm (Social relaxation & Integration)

Youth Fellowship follows our evening meeting usually in the Youth suite. It can otherwise be held in the home of a Parent or corps person, who very kindly provide us with supper, it is where we generally chill out together, chat, watch a film or play music, anything goes really, and even water fights in the summer.  We occasionally invite visitors to share with us.

Worship Band 7pm – 8.30pm (Worship leading development)

We are in the process of starting up a worship band and to keep regular rehearsals we meet every other week during youth fellowship.

Social Events (Social Interaction and team Building)

These are organised from time to time for fun and fund raising.

Youth Club (Friday 8pm – 11pm) (Social Interaction and Outreach)

The youth Suite comprises of a table tennis table, snooker table, darts, air hockey plus TV monitors with big screen for films and music, we have a bar area for soft cold drinks, hot drinks and snack facility.

This is open to our Corps youth aged 13 – 30 years and their friends. There is a leadership team who are always on hand to supervise this event. More help would be appreciated for this, should you be interested whether for a weekly commitment or on a rota with several others bases please contact me for further details.

Students

All students coming to Derby to study would be more than welcome to join with us, so we can get to know you and you us to ensure you enjoy your time with us, away from your family and corps. If you would like to enquire about anything please feel free to contact me.
