Need to Know
Some useful information you might need to know....
Allow 2 hours to set up and sound check. Please allow 1 hour to pack-up.
Allow a space at least 20ft wide and 14ft deep for the band, lights and speakers.
Health and safety is taken very seriously. PAT test information and public liability insurance documents are available on request.
Sound limiters - While there are a few venues that operate sensible restrictions (eg. Bury Court in Surrey), many systems limit the sound to unworkably low volumes which result in a huge loss of excitement and atmosphere. Please discuss before booking if you have no other option than to use a venue with a sound limiter.
Power - Ideally supply a 32amp single phase supply within 20m of the stage or 2 x 13 amp sockets (standard domestic mains sockets) that do not share the ‘ring’ with catering. Make sure there is someone at your venue that knows the location of the fuse board. If power is being supplied on extension leads (ie. out to a marquee) then supply at least 2 separate extension leads - the number of sockets on the extension real is irrelevant.
PA - If you are a promoter supplying the PA then here is a PDF of the required specifications, input list etc..
