Phone: Nokia N93i - What a difference an ‘i’ makes!
 
The Nokia N93i turned up today, it’s quite different from last year’s N93 is a number of areas, not least of which is the look and feel - it’s looks very contemporary - much more phone like. How does the N93i perform as a video camera, what improvements have been introduced? Well, for starters, continuous autofocus has arrived, and in style! To demonstrate, I’ve quickly prepared a couple of movies, the first is using the N93 (with fixed focus), the second is filmed using the N93i (with continuous autofocus). Continuous autofocus when shooting video is a massive boon for all video bloggers, but especially for those of use who would like to use their phone as their primary camera for gadget reviews. It really does work very well indeed, I was pleasantly surprised by it's speed. Yes, there is a small amount of motor noise as a consequence, but it's nothing to get too upset about.
