I know this is old news and everything, but it is the 30th anniversary of ‘Star Wars - A New Hope’ this year, so how could I let that pass by without some kind of mention . . . Ryan vs. Dorkman 2, (now up to one million views) the homemade light saber dual video, is a great testament to the creative power that is within the grasp of practically every college student in 2007. You will want to watch the FAQ video that was posted yesterday, it’s really quite interesting. I love that fact that these guys take it all so seriously - just like George. I have no gripes with their professional demeanour - these guys really are amazing film makers! It’s strange to think that this homemade video is more exciting and in many ways slicker, than some of the actual original light saber duels in the first Star Wars trilogy. It’s quite inspiring isn’t it - now if only there were more hours in the day.
