It’s fair to say that many Nokia N95’s users purchased Nokia’s iconic Nseries device on the strength of the Carl Zeiss 5 mega pixel camera. When speaking to new N95 owners it’s nearly always the same list of features that come up in conversation; satellite navigation, WiFi, decent web browsing and music playback, nearly always get a mention. But it’s the camera that people seem to love, it’s the camera that seems to get the most usage.
The Nokia N95 is the most popular phone on Flickr. Everyday, thousands of photos are added to the ever growing archive of evidence that reinforces the N95’s legendary status.
Many of these gems find their way into the Nokia N95 Flickr User Group. It’s this exciting group that forms the basis for the Nokia Creative N95 Photo Awards. So, if this is the first time you have visited Nokia Creative, please bookmark the home page and be sure to add all your best N95 photos to the Nokia N95 Flickr User Group!
This month’s winning photographs are nothing short of stunning. Having a 5 mega pixel camera with you at all times means you’re ready to capture that perfect moment... isn’t that what photography is all about?
Congratulations to the winners, let the ceremony begin...
Best Portrait. Photo by thomasryson. I love this. You just know that there's probably a great story behind this photo.
Best Colour. Photo by phoenix180. The clay blue of the sky mixed with the dirty white shoes (and clouds), very subtle, but extremely impressive.
BEST Composition. Photo by kuytu. Just wow! The light blooming at the top of the scrapers... the swirling flakes... the slight hint of colour... perfect!
Best Landscape. Photo by Derek... Derek supplied 15 or so inspiring landscapes, it was tough to narrow it down to just one single scene, but this is my favourite. Amazing work... again!
Best Macro. Photo by gnuage. Great detail, colours and composition.
Best Moment. Photo by prajpix. We've featured dogs, cats and mice, and now we're back round to dogs again. Here we see old slobber-chops melting into the Italian leather sofa. Nicely done.
