Just a quick note to say that I unfortunately will not be able to attend the Reunion. We have to leave for Maine soon and the timing is just not workable. Perhaps the next one in 5 or 10 if we are all still kicking by then. Thanks for all your hard work to organize as well as Diane Frohnauer Cooper and Ellen Bryant Klopfer. Hope you all have a wonderful time as I am sure you will.
Regards,
Clyde Miller
I am so very sorry to say I am unable to make it back to the states for our reunion. I am so very, very disappointed.
When I return to Ohio sometime this Fall I will call you and see if you are available for coffee. I would love to hear about your life 40 yrs later and would love to share with you my travels to many countries building orphanages and working with abused women.
I practiced law for 16 years before leaving for overseas missions work. This was prompted by my husband leaving me and our 2 daughters (Kristen 28, Victoria 22) after 28 yrs. of marriage. Rome is now my base.
I thought you might be interest in my most recent activities.
I protested with the Jewish community the presence of Ahmabinajad's presence in Rome 3 weeks ago.
I also walked in the 60th Anniversary Celebration for Israel. We started at the arch of Titus located near the Roman Forum and ended up behind the synagogue for a grand party in the 'ghetto.' Titus was the emperor who destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem and brought back some of its stones to build his memorial arch - pictures attached.
Please give my sincere regrets to all who remember me. Love, loren
I’m sorry for the delay is responding and regret that I will not be able to attend the get together. I have had several class mates call me and I know it will be missing a great time.
I am a Director of Human Resources for a Houston based company living in Elkhart, Indiana. I have a wonderful wife Ann and two daughters who both graduated from Purdue and both work in corporate level purchasing positions with two fairly large companies in Indiana.
Thanks again. Please give my regards to all and enjoy the holiday weekend.

I wanted to thank you and others who have done a great job finding all of us from Bexley and communicating with us. It's been neat. Unfortunately, with my personal and professional schedule this summer plus plans to be back in Columbus in late September for a family wedding, it is not working out for me to get back to the reunion this weekend My best to everyone. Thanks again for your great work.

Just wanted to wish you and all those who are attending the reunion, a wonderful weekend. I’m sorry that I won’t be able to attend - Ira and I just got back from our honeymoon in France. I’ll miss visiting with everyone and renewing old friendships.

I was about to call Jody but I sending this to both of you. It's been a long time and hope things are good with you. I had really looked forward to this reunion, since I haven't been able to see the class previously due to issues which I couldn't control but...
As I explained to Jody I would have to scramble to try to put this into the family plans this year, since I didn't hear about the reunion sooner, and by that's no ones fault it just happens.
My youngest just graduated from High School, which was delayed about a year due to medical issues when she was a Freshman; my wife and I just celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary and finally my oldest is gettng married in a couple of months, so finances are quite tight.
I was really looking forward to being there and the family really wanted me to go, when the reunion was going to happen. While I'm pleased that everything involving the kids is happening, unfortunately it had to be this year. I've told them that it just isn't realistic to try to put this together.
I hope that there are a lot of pictures taken and I will look forward to seeing them later.
Jody and Carol, Thanks for thinking of me for the reunion and keeping me updated.
Take Care and I Hope Everyone Has A Great Time,
Dave Lynn
P.S.
By the way I have an unusual connection to Bexley here in Minneapolis. During the summers for the last 12 years, I've worked as a Seasonal Sound Technician for the Minneapolis Park Board's Summer Concerts, primarily at a Band Shell on Lake Harriet. After 1 of the concerts, probably 8 years ago, I heard the conductor talking about going back to Ohio for the weekend. I pursued a conversation with him and found out finally that he lives in Bexley. He is Jay P., the conductor of the Columbus Symphony and here he conducts the Minnesota Sinfonia. I'm actually doing his 3 concerts at the Band Shell this summer, the last 2 are coming up in July. We've always had some interesting conversations about Bexley, when he's here. Small World.
