Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts

A Note From The Waynelovich Family:

It is hard to believe that we have almost completed our 10th Anniversary Season. We

would like to thank you for supporting us throughout the last decade. Can you believe our

John was 12 years old and played Kurt when we first performed The Sound of Music in 1999?

He’s now a junior in college! Time flies when your’e having fun. Ja’Duke has also been

blessed with a new member of our family this year—welcome to the family, Madelyn Ann

McCarthy. With her arrival, we are reminded that the future is our children and what a

bright future it is. Maddie has already made her theatrical debut this year in Seussical the

Musical!

One of our most successful endeavors this year was our Disney Performance Class, where

Ja’Duke traveled to Orlando and performed a 24 minute program at Epcot Center in

Disneyworld. We traveled with 90 people and had 33 performers. We are planning to

perform again in April 2009.

We are proud to announce that our new home is complete. We opened our doors in

July 2007. The center has ample parking in a very quiet area with central air and radiant

heat, as well as wireless internet in the future for our parents. We would like to thank

Joseph P. Mattei, our architect, for designing a great home and to George & Bucky Dole of

Dole Brothers Construction for their quality hard work on the project. Without the Dole

Brothers, this project would have been impossible. THANK YOU GEORGE!

We have expanded our class offerings and have added a new performance space; Ja’Duke’s

Black Box Theater (the biggest little theater in the Northeast), which will seat 110

people. Look for our first performance in January 2008, when we will be presenting

Nunsense. We plan to perform our small musicals there, as well as once again begin

producing straight plays. Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts is now offering 46

classes for ages 2 to infinity. Additions include:

• aerobics and pilates classes

• a technique class focusing on stretching, jumps and turns

• acrobatics classes

• a new acting class for adults that will culminate in a very intimate performance

in Ja1Duke1s Black Box Theater

• “The Cathedral Performance Concert Chorus” for adults preparing a 40

minute program that will be performed at The Cathedral Church of Saint John

the Divine in New York City, the largest cathedral in North America.

We are also proud to announce JCPA will be offering private vocal lessons taught by

Shelley Roberts and instrumental lessons including piano taught by John Waynelovich.

At the new studio we also have a brand new 3,500 square foot digital recording studio

suitable for all solo or ensemble recording.

Thank you for being part of our dream. We can1t wait to see what the future holds for

JCPA. Thank you for your support,

Nick, Charlotte, Aubrey, Kim, John, Lisa, Brian and Maddy
