After being flung out of a tornado, I’v wound up in Anderson, SC... still very wobbly. I was rescued by a dear friend from a life threatening situation.  Post traumatic stress disorder took my music away and bluegrass is bringing it back.

I am a survivor, it’s not easy for me, but I get by with a little help from my friends. I am probably the most unusual person you will ever meet. I’ve done a lot of things in my life and have lots of talents... this dog house bass thing is a new one.

I spent most of my life taking care of others, children, parents, and being anxiously engaged in worthy causes.   I love people and is very painful when those you love most toss you to the curb and cut off communication.

My friend Pam said, “Jackie remember, all the things you have lived through was in preparation for where you’d be today.”

Another friend, Margaret says, “Keep on believing... which happens to be the title of a song she wrote.

Still another friend who collects uplifting and encouraging quotes and sends them to me on a regular basis sent me; “Recovery is rediscovering the music within  you.

So I’m here in South Carolina, which has more Yankees than natives, to make a new life. I’ve created this web site so my friends, who think I have fallen off the earth can monitor my progress.

After 35 years of marriage and 3 children later... for the first time in my life I’m on my own.  Not totally alone because I have my music.
