THE NEWS is a provocative reality opera, synthesizing speech grooves, live music and video, remixed from international media footage.

Avant pop composer JacobTV weaved sonic social commentary into 36 scenes, that shine a critical spotlight on our world, the human condition, political leaders and cultural dynamics, involving freedom and democracy, war and peace, religion and politics, the economy and global warming, fame and infamy, catastrophy and morality. 

Starring President Obama, Putin, Mubarak, Berlusconi, the Pope, Dutch Queen Beatrix, Lady Gaga, Michael Moore, Paris Hilton, Sarah Palin, demonstrators from the Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street and more.
