A penguin in Arizona? Not at the zoo? Then where? Where else would a thirsty penguin go? The bars, of course. Any one of the many fine bars and clubs found in ION Arizona Magazine every month.
You see, ION the penguin left the cold great north tundra for the sunny warm pastures of Arizona. He left his family and said adios and hola to Arizona. The gay (yes, he’s gay) nightlife in his home town was kind of lame. Actually, non-existent. He downloaded ION Arizona on the internet every month and decided that Arizona was the place that we would settle down and start his new life.
So far, he has made a lot of friends and considers them his family. He especially loves his new job at ION Arizona as the Chief Party Animal. His job is to go our to the clubs found inside every issue of ION and make sure everyone is have a good time. One special “Party Penguin” is carefully selected every month who exhibits above average party ability. His or her picture and description is in IONs article.
Some advice he gives people is “drink responsibly (unlike me), if you drink get a designated driver” and if that fails, call a cab. But very important, make sure you tell the cab driver “the Penguin made me do it”.
