The Dead Betties were among my first friends in New York City so, Josh Starr's birthday would be cause for celebration any day of the week.  Cakeshop (1/5/08) was packed to the back of the room, despite the place being a sweatbox. Fake Hooker, Winning Looks, Fur Cups for Teeth, The Dead Betties and The Black Tie Party.  Talk about a killer lineup.  FCFT dressed up as voodoo priestesses and brought a doll for everyone to put curses on.  Happy Birthday Josh!!
