you know sometimes when you do something just to see if you can do it?  like see two rock shows on the same night, at the same time?  Well that, my friends. is precisely what i did.  Some old favorites, and a band i’ve never seen before (i love when that happens).  below you will find the results of this experiment, in the following order;

start the night off right with Freshkills at Union Pool.  this was the holy roller presentation alluded to in a previous thread.

next, synchronize watches and head over to Matchless.  Career Club was also playing a 9PM slot.

a short beverage break later, The Dead Betties played their set at Matchless.

and finally, a trip back to Union Pool to see Protokoll.  who are nothing short of amazing.
