JUNE 3, 2007- GRAND FERRY PARK, BROOKLYN
Act Local 2 kicked off this year in Grand Ferry Park. This time to save the famed Domino Sugar Factory. Rain was no hinderance when it came time to rock, the official word - we got 856 signatures on a petition to designate the factory site as a historical landmark!! This makes me very proud to be part of a community that is willing to stand up for the things we believe in.
